The Junior Woman's Club of Williamsburg is a non-profit organization of civic minded women making a positive difference in our community through volunteering, fundraising, and donations. We would love to have you join our Club! Start your journey towards becoming a member by attending our next meeting or event.
Contact our New Members Chair for more information.
In order to become a member, prospective members must participate in four club functions prior to submitting an application for membership. Two of those functions being general membership meetings, one fundraising committee and/or fundraising shift, in addition to one non-social project or activity.
The Executive Board will vote on applications for membership in the months of June and/or August (to be determined at the discretion of the President), October, January, and April.
Welcome our newest members (pictured from left):
Ashlie Shellenberger, Kelsey Swieringa, Chrissy Kayanan, Ellen Knecht, Jamie Mesrobian, Tricia Ridley, and our President Tori Otstot.
After initiation, members are expected to attend at least six of the ten General Membership Meetings held each Club year and participate in Club fundrasiers and committee projects.
New members must pay a one-time initiation fee of $10 in addition to membership dues (pro-rated based on month of initiation). Membership dues are $70 per Club year, to be paid before or at the June General Membership Meeting.
